Post aftermarket synthetic stocks for a cz 452/453
Anybody no of a decent aftermarket stock for this type of rifle in .17hmr. I have seen those advertised on rim magic. I was looking for a thumbhole model. I greatly appreciate any help on this.

I have this on my cz .17 from www.rifle-stocks.com. "CZ 452 17HMR,Tackdriver in Brown laminate , with a ½” pad and sling swivels on the side", the cost from usa was 230.5 dollars plus 40 quid to parcel post, I had to do some minor inletting and a lot of stock sanding it looks good but shoots evan better. This site I found later at customrifles@direcway.com, this is part of the email for a drop in stock, "CZ 452 has to be converted to singleshot as I do not inlet for the clip. Reason is that I cannot pillarbed with the magazine. Yes, I ship to the UK. Shipping cost there has been running 60.00 for a stock".

And if you want to know how to import gun parts, see my step by step instructions under Detachable Mag conversion, under Gunsmithing, post # 86197.

Let the DTI be the judge as to whether you need an import lic or not, also let the US Govt decide as to whether you need an export lic.

It might look difficult but if you look I have set it out simply. If you've done it before no problem.

I'm in the middle of importing a trigger for the CZ 452.

You have a variety of stocks to choose from.

Many minds make light work.
